A massive thank you to everyone who entered our July people-themed photography competition and apologies for the delay in announcing the results! Today, Chairman of the Penllergare Trust, along with the Secretary, Jeremy Douglas-Jones, judged the entries.

Congratulations to Paul Dennis (St Thomas) for taking first prize. His photograph titled “Cooling Down” will be entered into the annual competition where the top 3 photographs of 2013 will be made into postcards.

Congratulations also to Martin Pulling (Gorseinon) and Emily Dougherty (Swansea) for being chosen as the runners up.  Martin’s photograph is of his grandchildren “taken a couple of years ago when they were young enough to do as they were told :-)” while Emily presents “the silver foxes (from left) Jan, Neil and Merfyn who have been stalwart volunteers for Penllergare ever since she met them almost 3 years ago. Always a joy to volunteer with!”
