Estate Manager’s Walk & Talk
Wednesday 3rd April. Join the estate manager for an informal walk around the woods and learn about the progress of the restoration project. There will also be a visit to the car park and kiosk site. Don’t forget to wear strong sturdy footwear and waterproofs. Meet at the Woodland Centre. 10am – 12pm. Free.

Meet your Neighbours
Friday 5th April. We’ll be on the green at Parc Penllergaer from 3pm-6pm to answer any of your questions about Penllergare Valley Woods and its future. All Parc Penllergaer residents welcome!

Weekend Woodland Volunteering Session
Saturday 6th April. Interested in conservation? Like working outdoors? Come along and get stuck in on a range of woodland/restoration tasks. Meet in the Woodland Centre. 9am-12pm. Wear sturdy footwear, waterproofs and gloves. Free.

Easter BBQ Social for Volunteers, Staff and Trustees
Friday 12th April. We would be delighted to invite Trustees, staff and volunteers to a Easter social and BBQ at the Woodland Centre from 5pm.

Volunteer Ranger Taster Session
Tuesday 16th April. Do you walk the woods regularly? Could you be our eyes and ears? Would you like to join us in making Penllergare Valley Woods a safe, enjoyable and welcoming place to visit? Click here for further information.

Restoration Talk
Wednesday 17th April. Join the Friends of Penllergare Valley Woods at Llewelyn Hall, Penllergaer at 7.30pm to find out more about the restoration project from Philip James, the Project Director. Free for Friends. £2 for non-members.

Volunteer Researcher Taster Session
Tuesday 23rd April. Would you like to get your teeth into a historical, conservation or community research project that could help inform our activity plan and restoration project?  We’ll be meeting at the Woodland Centre from 10am-12pm to introduce our research plan and a selection of research projects ranging from taster projects to those that are slightly more challenging.
